Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I’d like to learn more ABOUT VAGINAL tightening SURGERY, can we talk by PHONE?

A. Consults by telephone and email are possible, however, discussing details, regarding your case in particular, are difficult. We can talk about all aspects of the surgery such as recovery, costs and procedure details but without an in office consultation I cannot quote final costs and ultimately if you are a candidate for the surgery.

Q. After my second child I just don’t feel the same anymore down there. How successful is vaginal rejuvenation surgery?

A. I answer this same question every day, being worried about the success of vaginal tightening surgery is normal. Please contact me for details and the many options available to you. The answer to your question is 98% successful.

Q. I constantly have small accidents when I laugh, cough, sneeze, or exercise. Is this because I’ve had 2 children naturally and is there a solution?

A. Yes, there is a solution and it is a very common problem (stress urinary incontinence) that can be solved.

Q. I don’t have any children but planning to. Should I wait until after kids for labiaplasty and vaginal rejuvenation?

A. Without knowing your past medical history and without a physical exam I cannot answer your question. There are many factors which need to be addressed before concluding if you are a candidate prior to having children. Many women wait until after children for vaginal tightening, but labiaplasty is sometimes done before. There are also nonsurgical procedures (ThermiVa) that can be done prior to childbirth.

Q. how long must I wait before having sex again after surgery?

A. 6 to 8 weeks is the typical recovery period after vaginal tightening surgery. However, intercourse can resume immediately after non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation with ThermiVa.

Q. how soon can I go back to work?

A. Depending on the type of surgery and how much physical activity you do at work you can probably start in 1-2 weeks, but if major reconstruction is done, you may need more time to recover.

Q. I am traveling to Dallas for surgery, how long should I stay in town after surgery?

A. Four days will be enough for almost all cases. I will discuss all post surgery details with you during your consultation.

Q. Do you offer discounts for combination labiaplasty / vaginoplasty surgeries?

A. Yes, combination surgeries are discounted. Please contact me for details.

Q. My labia have recently been causing a lot of irritation, Can you help solve this problem?

A. Yes, depending on whether or not the pain is from dryness or size and shape I can help alleviate your issue either with or without surgery.
